Fornace Terrecotte F.LLI MASINI

In 1939 the Masini family acquired an antique "Vanni" earthenware brickyard and kiln. The original ninetheenth century moulds are still used today with the passion and dedication to create a truely artisan product. All of the pieces are handmade in the antique tradition and include a vast assortment of jars, pots and other articles for the garden.

The famous "terra di Impruneta" is a clay mixture of sand, calcium carbonate and iron oxide which gives the earthenware its characteristic brick color. Each piece is accurately baked at 930°. This procedure guarantees durability and an exceptional resistance to atmospheric elements.

The finished product has a deep rustic red color with a rough and compact surface.
The entire line of Masini earthnware may also be adapted to interior enviroments, but because of the natural materials used and the resulting enviromental colos and textures combined with its durability it is especially adatable to an outdoor enviroment. The garden is the ideal setting for Masini earthenware vases and garden assessories.

Please note: Our items being wholly hand-made have a superior quality and price range.
