Farmhouse with swimming pool near Florence
The hamlet of Fattoria La Torre lies high in the hills just south of Florence and within walking distance of the pretty village of Reggello. The owners have restored the entire hamlet and converted it into five attractive apartments, all comfortably furnished with large bathrooms and private terraces or loggias with tables, chairs, a barbecue and umbrellas - and, of course, superb views of the countryside. Just below the hamlet a swimming pool occupies an ideal position on one of the many terraces, surrounded by well kept lawns with loungers and umbrellas. Reggello can be reached by a footpath which leads downhill into the village's main square, where a choice of good restaurants and bars awaits. An ideal spot for families. Saturday dinner included. Large, friendly dog on the property. The kitchens are simple, with cooktops and fridges only. Shared laundry facilities. The farmhouse is located within a property of 370 acres, where it is possible to go for healthy walks, mountain-bike rides and trekking excursions among olive-trees and woodland. Sport lovers will not be disappointed: in Reggello and nearly there are tennis courts, fishing pools and riding centres. On request, previous payment of an amount of money to agree upon the proprietary of the farmhouse, during the holiday, customers can use the old mill-room, now converted into a comfortable space, to enjoy their meals with holiday friends.
